Preparing for spiritual direction

To make the most of spiritual direction sessions the following suggestions are recommended:

Think of the session as a sacred time to meet with God (that will be your directors desire also). So it’s advisable tofind a quiet, comfortable undisturbed place to meet, and eliminate distractions. • I’ve been preoccupied with…

• I have been aware of God in my life through …

• I sense God’s absence in …

• I notice difficulty/frustration in my spiritual life with …

• I’ve been surprised by…

• I’ve sensed God bring these things to my attention recently …

• I am currently discerning …
